Sticky Model — Chrome Extension

Overview

Sticky Model is a browser extension that remembers your preferred Gemini model so it stays selected across new chats. Your privacy is important — this extension is designed to work with minimal data and zero external communication.

Data Collection

This extension does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Specifically:

• No personal information is collected
• No browsing history is tracked
• No analytics or telemetry is sent
• No data is transmitted to any server
• No third-party services are used

Data Storage

The extension stores a single preference — your last-selected Gemini model name (e.g. "Pro", "Flash", "Thinking") — using Chrome's local storage API (chrome.storage.local). This data:

• Never leaves your browser
• Is not synced to any cloud service
• Is automatically removed when you uninstall the extension

Permissions

The extension requests the following permissions:

• Storage — to save your preferred model choice locally
• Host access to gemini.google.com — to detect the current model and restore your preference on new chats

Changes to This Policy

If this policy is updated, the changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
